A Festival of Song brings together singers from all over the Denver metro area to perform a massed choir concert conducted by Mark Hayes, featuring his music.
Mark Hayes is an internationally known composer and his music is performed all across the globe. He has traveled throughout Europe, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zeland, Brazil, Canada, and South Africa to concertize, conduct and lead workshops. He is a frequent guest conductor at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
Mr. Hayes' compositions and arrangements are known for their unique American sound, drawing from diverse musical styles such as gospel, jazz, pop, folk and classical.
